Since the issuance of Presidential Regulation No. 8 of 2012, Law No. 12 of 2012 on Higher Education, and Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education Regulation No. 44 of 2015 on the National Standards for Higher Education (SNPT), Parahyangan Catholic University has undertaken a series of curriculum adjustments to comply with these national requirements.
Under these regulations, graduates of higher education institutions are assessed based on whether their competencies meet the learning outcomes defined within the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI). At the national level, graduates of a bachelor’s degree program are required to achieve competencies equivalent to at least Level 6 of the KKNI, which includes the ability to:
Master general theoretical concepts in a particular field of knowledge and skills, as well as gain an in-depth understanding of specific theoretical concepts within that field.
The areas of study in the 2023 Curriculum of the Bachelor’s Program in Electrical Engineering (Mechatronics Concentration) follow the recommendations of the Indonesian Electrical Engineering Higher Education Forum (FORTEI). The curriculum incorporates the Electrical Engineering Body of Knowledge developed by FORTEI, supplemented by selected areas from Mechanical Engineering to provide the multidisciplinary knowledge required in the field of Mechatronics.
